Definition

A process style defines the temporal application pattern of a development method. Examples include iterative, incremental, waterfall, agile, and hybrid styles. It characterizes the order, rhythm, and cycles of development activities and deliverables.

SimpleModeling

In SimpleModeling, a process style is treated as a swappable component of the development method. By selecting and applying styles appropriate to project characteristics and team context, the method can be flexibly and sustainably executed. SMRP (SimpleModeling Reference Profile) adopts a hybrid process style combining RUP and Agile.
